Garðalundur Park is the perfect place to get together with friends and family. The park is located near the Akranes Folk Museum and beside the golf range. Garðalundur Park boasts diverse plant life and many different types of trees, of which some are nearly 60 years old and provide shelter from the wind. There are also some beautiful ponds in the park where guests can fish for síli (laga), see the ducks and birds, and even skate over the ponds in the winter. The park also has many different activities for children such as a sandbox, volleyball, football and more. Additionally, the park has a public grill and mini-golf.
